The archeological findings of Volubilis date back to the 3rd century BC. It’s one of the best historical sites in Morocco. Soon after we finish exploring this historical city, we will drive to the imperial city Meknes. Meknes is one of the big-scale imperial cities of Morocco. Meknes has no shortage of tourist attractions. For example, the most famous spots in Meknes are the Medina, Lahdim Square, Bab Mansour Gate, Sahrij Swani pool, and the tomb of the Sultan Moulay Ismail, the king who built the city in the 17th century. Finally, we will head to Fez city. We will spend the night in a traditional Moroccan Riad in the ancient Medina of Fez.
On this day, we must wake up early to see the sunrise because it cannot be missed in the Sahara. We will ride the camels once again and head to the town of Merzouga where we left our luggage in the hotel. We will eat breakfast and shower before we head to Tinghir: the oasis town and the Todra Gorges. Todra Gorges are the highest canyons in Morocco. The landscapes of Todra are quite amazing. Finally, we will drive to Dades Valley and gorges to explore the rock formations of the ‘Monkey Toes’ before we stop at a hotel with a nice view.
After eating our breakfast, we will leave Dades and gorges. We will see the rock formations of the ‘Monkey Toes’.
